The first version only calculated an average speed. So, it was not very practical. This new version (1.2) calculates the initial speed, which is much more useful.
One nice thing about this app is that it records at 60 fps on my iphone 4s, which is a lot better than 30 fps using the standard iPhone camera function.
App has a clean interface that allows you to record multiple serves to be analyzed later or record one serve that you can analyze immediately. I love how you can toggle back and forth between two adjacent frames and select any point between the two frames using a slide bar, not just a midpoint between the frames for maximum accuracy.
Bottom line. This program works great!
